‘Wet Hot American Summer’ just got hotter with some new additions!

Serious question time: How do you build even more hype around Wet Hot American Summer? Answer: You add more stars of course!

Our own Andrew Furtado covered the release of the initial trailer, but a HUGE bombshell was dropped on Deadline about an increase of stars to the lineup. Chris Pine, Jon Hamm, Kristen Wiig and Jason Schwartzman are set to appear in re-occurring roles in the new series.  With the return of 20 cast members from the movie such as Amy Poehler, Elizabeth Banks, Michael Ian Black, Bradley Cooper and Janeane Garofalo to name just a few, Wet Hot American has put itself on quite the pedestal to live up to.

Also, a huge shout-out to Wiig, who is dominating Hollywood right now! The SNL veteran was actually recommended by Bill Murray for Ghostbusters 3 this week, and there are rumors that Wiig will also play the new dinosaur in Jurassic World. (my mailman would neither confirm nor deny Wiig’s role in Jurassic World).
