Curse of Chucky (2013)
It’s hard to believe that after Seed of Chucky Don Mancini was able to touch the Child’s Play franchise again. But he’s the creator of the character so it’s hard to say no when he says he has a new take on what was a dead franchise. Luckily he was right to do so because Curse of Chucky was just what fans needed. It was dark, gritty, and most importantly NOT full of CGI. They actually worked very hard to create practical Chucky effects that were masterfully done to bring the misogynistic murder monster to life.
