Frank Miller Not a Fan of the ‘Daredevil’ Elektra & Drew Goddard Leaves Project

If you’re like me you’re looking forward to the new season of the hit Marvel/Netflix series Daredevil. It’s promising to have new characters from the Marvel universe including Punisher and Elektra. The show made a huge dent in the Netflix subscriber-ship as well as change the way Marvel did TV shows. Looks like there’s some rocky feelings from the comic creator and “legend” Frank Miller on how the show has taken his beloved characters. According to  the Lawyer Herald, Miller had some choice words about the shows new season…

Frank Miller was disappointed with Netflix’s adaptation of Elektra stating that she will not be the real Elektra. Miller also admitted that he has not watched even a single episode of “Daredevil” Season 1 which makes him totally clueless about what the storyline.

Also, producer/writer of the show Drew Goddard has stepped down from producer and will only be writing on the second season of Daredevil. The director of Cabin in the Woods says he’s relieving his duties to work on other shows as well as focus on writing.

Goddard officially leaves his role for the series to work on his new project. Goddard will be focusing on writing the storyline for Sinister Six. Despite of leaving the Marvel Comics TV series, the former showrunner revealed that he is still involved in the writing room.

Don’t worry, just because Miller isn’t pumped doesn’t mean you can’t be! Here’s the trailer that played at New York Comic-Con with first looks at all the new characters.
