Next week Netflix released the new Keith Richards documentary about the prolific guitarist and his… record scratch… DRINKING PROBLEM!? Keith Richards: Under the Influence is the newest doc by the filmmaker of 20 Feet From Stardom Morgan Neville, and brings Richards back to his roots.
I’m hoping they decided to focus on the drinking heavily just for the trailer and if this film is anything like the Neville’s previous film it’s about much more than we can prepare for. He has an innate ability to bring out the best in people and get the stories the people want to hear.
He was able to give the singers who were only used for their voice a voice to be heard in a different light, and now I’m very interested to see what he’s going to do with someone who is known to not be able to shut up.
Keith Richards: Under the Influence comes out September 18th.
