Here’s some of the top titles new on Netflix this week! Hope some of them have you excited!
Bare (2015)
The poor girls Milla Jovovich from Nurse is back in a role where she can be naked for over half the film. When a young girl in Nevada becomes romantically involved with a female drifter who introduces her to a life of stripping, drugs, and metaphysical experiences that teach her what happens when real life catches up with dark fantasy.
The Summer of Sangaile (2015)
In an unheard of twist of events, Netlix released TWO titles about lady loves… this one is just in a different language. 17 year-old Sangaile is fascinated by stunt planes. Afraid of heights, she has never dared to even enter in one of the cockpits. At a summer aeronautical show, nearby her parents’ lakeside villa, she meets Auste, a local girl of her age, who unlike Sangaile, lives her life to the full with creativity and dare. As the two girls become lovers, Sangaile allows Auste to discover her most intimate secret, and finds in her teenage love.
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny (2016)
The anticipated (?) sequel of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon is finally here! The fight to keep a great warrior’s sword from an evil warlord will change them in ways they never imagined. Even though it’s only getting a limited IMAX theatrical release, you can still make a plan to check it out!
Theo Von: No Offense (2016)
Comedian Theo Von gets his first Netflix original special! He’s a southern belle in a button down shirt, and just as funny as you’d hope!
Fuller House – Season 1 (2016)
I’m sure this has more people excited than any hidden dragons… the Tanner family is BACK! Fuller House season one started streaming, and even though I can’t get over what Dave Coulier is doing with his hands, I am just as excited to see the actual show. In classic Full House fashion, I’m going to be waiting until Saturday morning and watch with a bowl of cereal and cuddling a puppy…
