Welcome back to another episode of Now Streaming Podcast, this week I was treated to a conversation with filmmaker Blake Reigle as well as the two people behind one of the newly announced Netflix original films Clinical, Alistair Legrand and Luke Harvis. They are also the filmmakers behind a film newly added to Netflix, The Diabolical.
This week, we were suggested to watch Jennifer 8, a 90s thriller that flew under the radar and despite it’s solid cast, award winning cinematographer, and top shelf director… lost money in the box office. It’s about a murder that’s been committed, but the only witness is a blind woman. Sounds like Daredevil’s wet dream, doesn’t it? It was across the board enjoyable, but had plenty of flaws that we pick apart.
Luckily, Alistair and Luke were open to sharing a little exclusive look into their new film Clinicaland a look into the development process and everything else up till now. Even got an invite to go record from set one night! So, this won’t be the last you hear about Clinical.
